Volunteer Opportunities
If you like to help people, you have come to the
right place! Freedom Horses success is due to volunteers. And it's not
just horse owners that make a difference. Look at all these
opportunities!
Horse owners - If you own a VERY SAFE horse and have the gift for
encouragement, your horse could be eligible to be a Freedom Horse! There
is not a set time commitment or "right" formula. You can work with one
client or a small group in a variety of horse activities. It's your
choice. We work around your schedule matching you up with client(s) that
work for your timeframe -- a weekday, an evening or a weekend. There is
never an obligation to continue. Try it and see if it's a good fit for
you and your horse(s). Clients have all different experiences with horses,
from none to experienced riders.
Don't Own a Horse? We need you too....
Transportation - Do you have the gift of hospitality and a reliable
vehicle? Many clients do not own vehicles. Volunteers are needed to take
clients to and from their Freedom Horse activities.
Marketing/Fundraising/PR - So you have the gift of promotion? Freedom
Horses needs help spreading the word and getting donations!
Administration - If you have the gift of administration, Freedom Horses
would love for you to help us stay organized! As we grow, more and more
agencies will be reaching out for our help to create their own Freedom
Horses project with our assistance.
